The Evil Empire Falls

The Duke Blue Devils lost their First Round game in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament 79-77 to theVirginia Commonwealth Rams. Despite the fact that it busted my tourney bracket, I can never feel bad when Duke loses.

it's telling (and sad) that your only comment on the tourney has nothing to do with your own team, one of the favorites to win it all. it's fascinating to watch otherwise rational people lose all semblance of sense when it comes to Duke. Jealousy is indeed an ugly monster.

Jealous?!? Not!

I had them picked to make the Elite 8 because I believe Coach K is one of the best coaches in College B-ball, but a rivalry is a rivalry, and I do like to see them lose. I bet you like to see Carolina lose, too.
