Jody and I made some headway on getting stuff out of the garage and into the house. I was able to move all the stuff still out there over to one side, so I am finally able to park my car in the garage. I guess now I need to get a garage door opener.
Parking in the garage may seem like a minor thing, but it's been something I've wanted for a long time.

Your family really must have been cramped in your old house.
I understand the "able to get the car into the garage" thing. I have been refinishing a desk and bookcase for my son's room, and I could not get my car into my side of the garage. I finally re-arranged everything so that the desk and bookcase will fit against the back wall when I am not working on them.
